When trying to land your messages with your audience, it often requires delivering your message over multiple platforms so that the chances of your audience seeing or hearing it, are increased.
This is what we refer to as the wide web of communication.
For years, it has been known that people don’t consume media in the same way. Just as we all learn in different ways, the way we receive a message is also different according to our individual preferences.
While some people prefer reading a notice from leadership, others would prefer hearing it directly. Couple this with the fact that people need to hear or see something up to seven times before the message sticks, requires that you package your message in different ways and share it on different platforms for it to make the desired impact.
Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing some information on the different communication tools available with some tips on how to incorporate these into your communication strategy.
If you have any specific platforms that you would like us to talk about, please feel free to share those on this post.
